Ham Radio Network is a collaboration of people that share their interest in amateur radio. We are not bound by geographical boundaries therefore we benefit from a free global membership and we use this to our advantage as we can gain opinions, knowledge, advice and reviews from a wider audience. Here, at Ham Radio Network, we like to think of ourselves as a one stop shop.
Ham Radio Network is managed by an admin team that come from different backgrounds and we each enjoy different aspects of the hobby, therefore we acknowledge that amateur radio is multi-faceted and there is no right or wrong mode or specialism.
Ham Radio Network utilises Zoom and hold fortnightly talks under our “An Evening With…” banner.
More locally, we have helped new licencees in their first steps into the hobby, assisted established amateurs with aerial installations, passed on kind donations of equipment and also assisted our global membership with software applications such as WSJTX, LOG4OM, N3FJP’s Amateur Log, Gridtracker etc by accessing remotely.
We also host an annual event in Kent, UK called the Grand Field Day and this gives more local amateurs an opportunity to meet, make new friends and operate their own station or one of ours and exercise our special event callsign. In its third year, we aim to have many more stations operating from this unique venue and work many more DX!
